ARIANNA N

Arianna was born in Udine on June 22, 1999. After a series of decisions that made her regret graduating as a chemical technician from the A. Malignani Institute in Udine, she decided to pursue a more artistic path by studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice where she earned her bachelor's degree. There, she embarked on a long and still unfinished search for the meaning of life and her own limits. 

In 2023, she met photographer Pascal Maitre and became his assistant during the Venice International Photography Festival at the island of San Servolo. He taught her to see the world in a new light and to place the human figure and their story at the center of her artistic research. 

In 2024, she met photographer Olivier Follmi, from whom she learned the art of communicating before shooting, creating a bond of trust with the subject. Photography thus quickly became her new medium, allowing her to get to know some of the people who inhabit this world, focusing on the relationship before the shot. 

A photoshoot with Arianna is a small journey to rediscover a new story to tell in the quietest and most hidden corners of Venice.
