CLASSIC PHOTOSHOOTS

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?

It’s always best to book at least one month before your desired date and package. We recommend chatting with us first before booking, especially during high-season months (May, June, July, October, and November), as these months tend to be very busy with weddings and other events.


HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?

On our website: We recommend contacting us via WhatsApp or iMessage at +39 351 874 2527 whenever possible, as this allows us to respond promptly to your requests. Alternatively, you can send an email to ciao.pickapicvenezia@outlook.com, though please note that emails may occasionally end up in our spam folder. If your request is not urgent, email is fine, otherwise, messaging us is the best option.

Once your preferred date and package have been confirmed as available, we’ll send you a link to our Stripe page for payment. After the payment is received, your photoshoot will be officially confirmed.

GYG / TripAdvisor / Viator / Booking.com: You can simply select your preferred date and time directly on the platform and complete your payment there.


DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT OR RETAINER FEE?

Depending on your preferred payment method, if you wish to pay in full, we advise completing the payment no later than one week before your desired date; otherwise, we cannot guarantee availability.


WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

Although rescheduling is always subject to our availability, requests made at least two days before your booked date are usually manageable. Any requests made less than two days in advance are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept payments via Stripe, PayPal, or cash.

  • If you choose to pay via Stripe or PayPal, full payment is required and is refundable only within one week after payment. This is why we recommend booking at least one week before your desired date and time.

  • If you choose to pay in cash, a non-refundable retainer fee is required, the amount of which depends on your selected package.


DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Unfortunately no.


IS THE SESSION FEE REFUNDABLE?

  • If the payment is made through our website (via Stripe or PayPal), it is refundable only within one week after payment.

  • If the payment is made through GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor, Viator, or Booking.com, it is refundable up to 24 hours before the booked date and time.

  • If you choose to pay in cash, the retainer fee is non-refundable.


ARE GONDOLA RIDE FEES INCLUDED?

If you book our Gondola Package, it is included.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR THE WEATHER IS ROUGH?

Although light rain doesn’t usually affect us and we often proceed with the photoshoot even in such conditions, we typically contact our clients three days before the scheduled date if the weather forecast looks unfavorable, to arrange a possible reschedule. If the client has no other available date, we will issue a full refund.

For the Gondola Package, if it rains, the gondola ride cannot take place. If rescheduling the date or time is not possible, we will offer to downgrade the photoshoot and provide a partial refund of the gondola fee (€90).


WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

On our website: A booking is fully refundable if canceled within one week after payment when paid via Stripe or PayPal. If the payment is made in cash, the retainer fee is non-refundable.

GYG / TripAdvisor / Viator / Booking.com: A booking is refundable if canceled at least 24 hours before the booked date and time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.



CAN I RESCHEDULE DUE TO BAD WEATHER OR ILLNESS?

Rescheduling is always subject to our availability, as we don’t only offer classic photoshoots and often have other bookings. However, if the rescheduling request is made at least two days before your booked date and time, it is usually manageable. Any request made less than two days in advance is subject to the photographer’s availability and cannot be guaranteed.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?

  • Basic Package: 30 minutes

  • Standard Package: 60 minutes

  • Premium Package: 90 minutes

  • Super Package (Pick'Ur Style): 120 minutes


WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE SHOOT?

If you booked our Classic Photoshoot, you’re free to wear anything you like.

If you booked our Pick’Ur Style Photoshoot, a consultation with your chosen photographer will take place before your booked date and time to discuss styling and attire details.

And don’t forget to bring your sunnies! 


CAN I BRING PROPS OR OURFIT CHANGES?

You’re welcome to bring props for your photoshoot. Outfit changes are not recommended unless your lodging is nearby, as public restrooms are often not close to our locations.


DO YOU HELP WITH THE POSING?

Definitely! Our job is to make sure you look great and feel confident during the photoshoot.


CAN WE INCLUDE OUR PETS OR KIDS?

Yes, your kids and pets are absolutely welcome! The only time we don’t recommend bringing pets is when booking our Gondola Package, as it’s up to the gondolier to decide whether pets are allowed during the ride.


DO YOU ALLOW GUESTS/FRIENDS TO COME ALONG?

Our Classic Photoshoots accomodates upto a group of 6.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

  • Economy Package (only available on GYG / TripAdvisor / Viator / Booking): 15 photos

  • Basic Package: 50 photos

  • Standard Package: 100 photos

  • Premium Package: 150 photos

  • Pick'Ur Style: Infinite photos


WHEN WILL I GET MY PHOTOS?

You digital photos will be delivered within 72 hrs after your photoshoot date.

All prints ordered via our provider, Pic-Time, depends on the selected laboratory.


DO YOU RETOUCH OR PHOTOSHOP THE PHOTOS?

All Classic Photoshoots only includes basic editing and lighting adjustments. If you wish a more advanced editing, you can buy our add-ons, "Pic Enhancement", that includes object and people removal of upto 5 photos. We do not offer body morphing editing.


DO YOU DELIVER RAW OR UNEDITED FILE?

No, we do not.


WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT OF THE PHOTOS?

As per Italian Law 633 Art. 98 of April 22nd 1941 and the Italian's Highest Court of Appeals no. 4094 of June 28th 1980, all rights reserved are of the author of the images. Clients who paid for their session are authorized to use them exclusively for private, non-commercial purposes, and are not authorized to pass the images on to third parties, including but not limited to other providers without the author's expressed consent.

DO YOU SHARE PHOTOS WITH THIRD PARTIES?

We share photos only on our website, social media platforms for commercial purposes, and through our provider, Pic-Time, for digital photo delivery to our clients.


In accordance with the European GDPR and Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, we do not share any of your data, including photos, with third parties without your consent.


CAN I ASK NOT TO HAVE MY IMAGES PUBLISHED?

In accordance with the European Privacy Policy GDPR and Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, we do not share your photos without your consent. We will always request your permission before any publication. If you prefer that your photos are not shared online, we will fully respect your privacy.


WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

Venice, Treviso and Udine area.


DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE VENICE/TREVISO/UDINE?

We are always available to travel outside our standard areas; however, additional travel and lodging fees will apply.


CAN YOU RECOMMEND MAKEUP ARTISTS OR STYLISTS?

Yes

DO YOU OFFER PHOTO ALBUMS OR PRINTS?

We offer photo albums and prints through our partner, IlFotoAlbum (for italian residents) or through our provider, Pic-Time (for foreign clients). 


For italian residents, all our wedding packages include a USB flash drive with a personalised wood engraving.


WHAT IF I WISH TO DOWNLOAD MORE PHOTOS OTHER THAN WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?

You can have the rest of the gallery by buying our add-on, "Pick'All Pics". After the payment confirmation, within 24 hrs, you will be able to download infinite photos. 


CAN I CHOOSE MY PHOTOS?

Yes, we deliver the full gallery and depending on your booked package, you can download the number of photos included.


CAN I CHOOSE MY PHOTOGRAPHER?

If you book our Pick'Ur Style package, yes. If you book our Classic Photoshoot it all depends on our availability.


CAN I GIVE THIS PHOTOSHOOT AS A GIFT TO SOMEONE?

Yes you can.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M LATE TO MY SESSION?

We have a 15-minute grace period. If you fail to arrive within this timeframe, you will be deemed no-show and no refunds will be issued.


WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK DURING THE SESSION?

We offer sessions in italian and english although some of our photographers also speak spanish and filipino, we do not offer this languages due to availability.
